Career and Technical Education Month is an annual public awareness campaign taking place each February, celebrating CTE, its programs, and their importance for students of all ages.
Throughout February, we will be sharing several CTE posts per week. These will include WBSD7 CTE program overviews, highlighting educators, and showcasing student stories.
Today marks our first post, featuring the expansion of the current CTE Center and introducing our new CTE Director, Audrey Larson.
𝗖𝗧𝗘 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿:
Audrey Larson assumed the role of CTE Director on 1/1/2024, bringing valuable experience from her previous role as an assistant principal at WHS with CTE oversight. We are excited to have Mrs. Larson take on these responsibilities!⭐️

The construction of the CTE Center remains on schedule and within budget. Scheduled to open in Fall 2024, this center will expand on the current CTE offerings, providing opportunities for other schools in the area.
The project is made possible by a $10 million grant from the North Dakota Career and Technical Education Capital Projects Fund, along with matching donations from community partners.
Anticipation is growing as we look forward to the fall 2024 opening, not only as an addition to the Williston High School campus but also a substantial expansion of our current CTE offerings.
The project includes dedicated space for our alternative high school, enhancing accessibility for all students and the broader community.
